See shopsSobrasada is much more than a simple cured sausage. It is the result of centuries of Mediterranean charcuterie tradition, born from the need to preserve pork throughout the year.
Made with selected pork, paprika (pimentón) and spices, sobrasada is stuffed into natural casings and undergoes a curing process that gives it its spreadable texture and unmistakable flavour.
The island of Mallorca is, without doubt, the birthplace of the most renowned sobrasadas, protected by the PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) "Sobrasada de Mallorca".
